Wagerr operates a self-governing and self-funding budget model that enables the network to pay individuals and businesses to perform work that adds value to the network. A DAO (decentralized autonomous organization) budget system is not reliant on donations or sponsorships that can lead to conflicts of interest.
The Development fund, similarly to Masternodes earns a clip of all the betting volume on the Wagerr network. The development fund earns 0.6% of the net winning margin of all bets. This can be estimated by summing the below formula by all winning bets.
Once the network is established and stable. Masternodes will take full control of governance of the Wagerr network. They will vote on proposals by contractors and have full control of the Development fund to drive development of Wagerr and vote on code updates.
